Kim Flora is a practitioner of painting, collage, and digital art. Most recently, her focus has been on the medium of encaustic painting, an ancient medium that involves combining molten wax, resin, and pigment to make paint. She has had solo exhibitions at PAC Gallery and Manifest Creative Research and Drawing Gallery in Cincinnati.
Kim's work has also been exhibited nationally and internationally including, Wright State University; The Abecedarian Gallery, Denver, and the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. In 2008 she was awarded an Individual Artist Grant City from the City of Cincinnati and in 2010 her painting, 'Crossing the Seine', was acquired by the Cincinnati Art Museum.
